Keeping Your Confidential Data Private

- There is a library of 200+ rules, including PCI, DSS and HIPAA, for 18 countries
- DLP automatically updates rule sets to remain current with compliance mandates

- DLP Decompresses archived files to extract data
- There is seamless integration with WatchGuard Cloud Visibility / Dimension for full visibility
Protects the Data You Care About Most
WatchGuard Data Loss Protection protects your organisation’s personally identifiable information (PII), healthcare information, financial data, and any other sensitive and confidential data. DLP automatically inspects more than 30 file types as they are in motion via email, web or FTP. DLP enables you to add customisable rules to meet your organisation’s needs.
Data Protection and Compliance Made Easy
DLP is accessible on an intuitive management console, is easy to use and quick to apply rule sets. You can choose to log or block flagged transmissions, and quarantine them for review. You can set exceptions by group or user and decide on the action taken when data cannot be scanned, for example if a password is protected or corrupted. Alarms can be set for when a data transmission is flagged so that you are always on top of threats.
See Your Data in Motion
WatchGuard Cloud Visibility enables you to see how many connections have been scanned and the number of violations identified, allowed, denied, and quarantined. You can view the detail for each violation, the rule triggered and the source destination for IP addresses, as well as the sender and recipient for emails.
How WatchGuard Data Protection Works
DLP works by examining outbound traffic with pattern matching to identify attempts of exfiltration of sensitive data. Once identified the connection is blocked or quarantined and the network administrator is alerted.
